There simply are not enough resources or information for trans youth on the web or otherwise. It is important to have information available to allow individuals to network and share information by transyouth for transyouth. Please note that new postings are interspersed with older stuff. Please look through everything before moving on.
FYI: If you see a call for submissions with a deadline that's a month or so old, don't fret. Deadlines are often extended for a variety of reasons. Before you give up, write to the editor to be sure.
If you have information about events, support groups, mailing lists, etc., please write to me so that I can improve the dissemination of information. Thanks!
For information regarding planning committee meetings contact Ren Petty, Event Director at (619) 370-7101 or email Ren at WatrBaby21@aol.com

Qs is a Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning (LGBTQ) youth group that empowers Asian Pacific Islander LGBTQ, ages 14-18, in the Los Angeles area to create social, economic, and political change through individual support, education and training, organizing, and mobilizing. Qs is also open to LGBTQ youth of other races and LGBTQ allies.
Qs will provide youth with skills to deal with problems with their identities by learning more about their sexualities and racial backgrounds through rap groups, workshops, fieldtrips, conferences with other LGBTQ youth, mentorship programs, social activities, and more!
Qs also encourages LGBTQ youth to have their own voices and stand up for their rights and the rights of their communities by developing their leadership skills and involving them in their communities.
