What's Important

This used to have a lot of background information about me that simply seems irrelevant at the moment. So, here's what's important today -->

My primary partner, Sky, and I have had a polyamorous relationship for the past 14 .5 years. In other words, we have adventures with other people. This picture was taken during a trip to Maui in 2002 and illustrates why I'm still head over heels for the guy!

A new phase of our lives has begun. Sky's daughter, Poppy, had a baby boy who she named Gage. I'm ecstatic! I'm a grandpa . . .

We've started using sign language with him in the hopes that he'll be able to communicate with us before he's able to speak. Between that and the Spanish, the kid could actually grow up to speak far more languages than all of us put together. He's growing in leaps and bounds and is simply delightful to watch. I can't wait until he starts talking. Here are some more recent pics of the Grandkid and my little brown-eyed beauty Sugar.

The three of us

My nephew, Adrian, is interested in chess and plays rather well for an 8 year old. I was two years older than he was when I started playing chess and he already has a year or two on me. He's great at soccer and just got his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Yaay, Adrian!

The beauty of nature never ceases to amaze me. Here are some incredible pics of the wild flowers at our prior residence that I just could not bring myself to remove despite the fact that I've moved on.

I believe that the best way to repay those who listened to the endless hours of doubts, concerns, and joys in this great journey called life is to educate the world at large and to provide an ear for other people who are grappling with the complex issues of gender and sexuality. As a result this website was born.

If you are interested in reading my views and how they have changed over the years, my writing credits include:

Please excuse the lack of anything current, I'm horridly behind on my writing and there never seems to be enough time to do all the things that need doing.
